VINFAST PARTNERS TO DEVELOP HANOI INTERNATIONAL SPORTS URBAN AREA PROJECT, FURTHER STRENGTHENING ITS CORE ELECTRIC VEHICLE BUSINESS

Hanoi, September 16, 2026 - VinFast today announced its plan to participate in the development of the Hanoi International Sports Urban Area Project, with the aim of developing a comprehensive Smart Urban Area – Green Mobility model, with electric vehicles serving as a core driver.

VinFast Vietnam Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of VinFast Auto Ltd., has signed agreements to acquire 100% of the equity interests in Ngoc Hoi Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company. Ngoc Hoi currently holds a 20% economic interest in the investor consortium developing the Hanoi International Sports Urban Area Project (Vinhomes Global Sportia Hanoi), with Vinhomes serving as the lead developer authorized to coordinate and implement the project.

Leveraging Vingroup and Vinhomes’ extensive experience in developing mega-urban areas and the strong growth potential of Vietnam’s real estate market, VinFast’s participation in the Hanoi International Sports Urban Area Project is expected to generate additional and sustainable revenue and cash flow for the Company. The supplementary cash flow from participation in the real estate sector will provide further support for VinFast to continue pursuing its core strategy of developing electric vehicles and a green transportation ecosystem.

In addition, directly participating in the project through an active business approach from its early stage will enable VinFast to engage throughout the entire development lifecycle, allowing the Company to contribute to and capture a substantial share of the value generated by the mega-urban development.

This also presents an opportunity for VinFast to leverage the strength of its comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem and make green mobility an integral component of urban planning from the outset. Through this approach, VinFast will contribute to creating a model city where transportation infrastructure not only meets mobility needs but also serves as a catalyst for the development of a green and smart urban ecosystem.

The Hanoi International Sports Urban Area Project is fully aligned with VinFast’s strategy, with a vision to become one of the world’s livable Green – Smart – Wellness mega-urban areas.

Strategically located at the southern gateway to Hanoi, the Hanoi International Sports Urban Area spans nearly 9,200 hectares and is envisioned as a new center of Hanoi – the connecting heart of the capital region and the country – bringing together breakthrough growth drivers across infrastructure, sports, commerce, entertainment and quality of life.

At the heart of the mega-urban area will be a world-class Sports and Events Center, featuring the over-400-hectare Hung Vuong International Sports Complex, ranked among the world’s Top 5 in scale. The complex will include VinFast – Trong Dong Stadium, the world’s largest stadium with a capacity of 135,000 seats.
