VINFAST LAUNCHES FOUR NEW ELECTRIC SCOOTER MODELS, COMPLETES INSTALLATION OF THE FIRST 4,500 BATTERY-SWAP STATIONS
Hanoi, 15 January 2026 – VinFast announced the launch of four new electric scooter models, addressing a wide range of mobility needs. The lineup includes three battery-swapping models and one compact, pedal-assisted model designed specifically for students. To support the operation of these new vehicles, V-Green has completed the installation of the first 4,500 battery-swap stations and expects to deploy a total of 45,000 battery-swap cabinets nationwide by Q1 2026.
With 45,000 battery-swap cabinets planned across 34 provinces and cities nationwide by Q1 2026, VinFast’s electric scooter battery-swap network is expected to be approximately 1.5 times the number of existing fuel stations, ensuring users can confidently transition to electric scooters. With strong support from local authorities and close cooperation from major partners, VinFast battery-swap cabinets are becoming increasingly prevalent across urban areas, contributing to a greener, more modern, and more sustainable urban transportation landscape.
In parallel with infrastructure deployment, VinFast introduced its first three battery-swapping electric scooter models: Evo, Feliz II, and Viper, each tailored to different user preferences and usage needs. In addition, VinFast expanded its license-free scooter portfolio with Amio, a lightweight, stylish model featuring user-friendly specifications optimized for urban environments.
Among the new products, VinFast Viper features an entirely new design and is equipped with multiple smart features, including a Smart Key system with vehicle tracking and remote vehicle-finding, remote on/off control for anti-theft support, LED projector headlights, and dual rear shock absorbers with auxiliary oil reservoirs for smoother and more stable operation. Viper is powered by a BLDC in-hub motor with a maximum output of 3,000W and a top speed of up to 70 km/h.
The remaining battery-swap models, Feliz II and Evo, inherit the strengths of previous generations. Feliz II is equipped with a 3,000W BLDC in-hub motor similar to Viper, while Evo features a 2,450W in-hub motor. Both models support a top speed of up to 70 km/h. Evo will also be available in an Evo Lite version with a maximum speed limited to below 50 km/h, which does not require a driver’s license.
VinFast Evo, Feliz II, and Viper are all designed with two battery compartments under the seat, optimizing storage space and enabling easy battery removal and installation. The batteries used for the battery-swap models have a capacity of 1.5 kWh each and utilize durable and highly safe LFP technology. Customers may rent one battery for VND 175,000 per month, rent two batteries for VND 300,000 per month, or choose to purchase the vehicle with batteries included. The battery-swap fee is VND 9,000 per battery per swap. Customers may also charge batteries at home or at public charging stations.
With two fully charged batteries, VinFast Evo can travel up to 165 km under standard conditions, while Viper and Feliz II can reach up to 156 km under standard conditions.
VinFast opens early pre-orders for the Evo model from 15 January to 29 January 2026, with a price of VND 19,990,000 (excluding battery). Customers placing early deposits during this period will receive a VND 1 million discount per vehicle. The first Evo units are expected to be delivered to customers in February 2026.
In addition to the three battery-swap models, VinFast also introduced the Amio pedal-assisted electric scooter, which features a compact, lightweight design, ease of use, and no driver’s license requirement. Amio is equipped with an 800W in-hub motor, a maximum speed of 30 km/h, and comes with a 1.024 kWh LFP battery, offering a maximum range of up to 65 km per full charge under standard conditions.
