NEXT-GENERATION VINFAST VF 8 SETS SALES RECORD WITH 12,728 ORDERS IN JUST EIGHT DAYS IN VIETNAM

Hanoi, June 4, 2026 – VinFast has announced a new sales record for a premium D-segment electric SUV in Vietnam, with 12,728 orders placed for the next-generation VF 8 in just eight days during the early-bird reservation campaign (from May 27 to June 3, 2026). The first batch of vehicles is scheduled for delivery to customers by the end of July 2026. 

The 12,728 non-refundable reservations for the next-generation VF 8 were recorded through VinFast’s official online booking platform and its authorized dealership network nationwide. Remarkably, orders were evenly distributed across the Northern, Central, and Southern regions of Vietnam, representing an average of approximately 1.1 successful deposits per minute. 

Early bird buyers who deposited during this period received exclusive incentives valued at VND 51 million, alongside flexible sales policies, including either a 10% discount on the listed price or installment financing with a fixed interest rate of 5% per annum for the first three years. Furthermore, next-generation VF 8 owners will also enjoy complimentary charging at V-Green’s nationwide charging station network until February 10, 2029.

VF 8 marked a pivotal milestone in VinFast's transition toward becoming a pure-electric automaker. It is also the first product line to undergo comprehensive upgrades encompassing exterior aesthetics, interior ergonomics, and core engineering architecture. 

The vehicle was developed under the guiding philosophy of "Tech Fluid", aiming to project a sophisticated, premium, and technology-driven identity that is constantly moving forward. The cabin layout has been engineered to optimize ergonomics, ensuring maximum comfort for both the driver and passengers. 

The most revolutionary upgrade in the next-generation VF 8 lies in its completely new technology platform and electronic/electrical architecture, independently researched and developed by VinFast engineers. This advancement optimizes vehicle weight, achieving a reduction of up to 600 kg compared to its predecessor, thereby significantly enhancing energy efficiency and agile driving dynamics. The vehicle is also equipped with a suspension system featuring Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology combined with an Integrated Thermal Management (ITM) system, ensuring smooth, durable operations while extending the lifespan of both the battery and the electric motor. 

The next-generation VinFast VF 8 offers a driving range of nearly 500 km per full charge (under NEDC standards) and integrates fast charging capabilities that allow the battery to charge from 10% to 70% in less than 30 minutes. The vehicle is also equipped with state-of-the-art safety technologies.
